"We would like to say "thank you" for more than one reason:

48+26 reasons: Thank you for your registration in the 13th European Shin Conference, your presence, your active participation in the discussions, your friendly and encouraging words, your smiles.

24 reasons: Thank you for your presentation: we have been able to listen to personal messages, to scientifically elaborated analyses, to deeply experienced daily life examples. Thank you for the work that ran into the presentation.

2 reasons: Thank you for doing kikyoshiki: we are glad we have two new members in our shinshu community who have chosen the middle path.

4 reasons: Thank you for being here, Hongwanji. Thank you, Shinmonsama, for your presence, for your direct support, for your friendly words to all of us.

2 more reasons: Thank you for the energy, Hotel Campanile and Hotel Firean, you put into so many logistic elements: welcoming our guests, helping in so many situations, preparing good food.

1 big reason: Let's be grateful to the Buddha, for his presence throughout the conference. In so many situations, we could feel his gentle guiding.

From the bottom of our hearts: a last "thank you all", in the name of Jikoji sangha in general, and in the name of Rev. Shitoku A. Peel and Yuho B. Van Parijs in particular - and in my own name, of course!"

"I received your e-mail, for which I thank you very much. I am also grateful for your efforts in preparing and supporting the 13th European Shin Conference. It was truly a successful meeting for all the Shin members in Europe. On the way home, as you know, we (…) found how Rev. Peel delivered Shin teaching rightly and appropriately to the people in your Sangha, (…) There should not be any conditions nor restrictions for saying the nembutsu and

hearing the Dharma, because nembutsu is an evidence of Amida's compassion working in us. Please give my best regards to Rev. Peel, and also deliver my words of appreciating his proper and deep deliverance of the teaching.

Thanking you again for your great hospitality in the conference, I look forward to seeing you in the near future." (Michio Tokunaga)

"I would like to take this means to express my sincere appreciation to you for your kind hospitality extended to us when we visited Antwerp (…). Because of your arrangements and assistances we enjoyed our stay very much. Shinmonsama also expressed that he was pleased to have been able to visit Antwerp. May you continue to appreciate Jodo Shinshu teaching and share it with others. When you need any assistance from us, please do not to hesitate asking us. Thank you again for your kindness. Gassho." (Y. Hayashi, HIC)

"Thank you very much for all of your efforts to arrange the Conference, which was closed so fruitfully." (Esho Sasaki)

"Good morning, at last, from Alaska. It has been a long but very rewarding journey for Nick and I. Thanks, again to all of the members of the Antwerp sangha for their hard work on the conference. It resulted in an experience that enriched us all. In Gassho." (Myoshin Carole Panduren)

"Thank you so much for making this conference possible. I am very grateful for the wonderful days spent with you in Antwerp." (Adrian Cirlea-Rumania)

"I appreciate your effort to make the meeting successful. Namuamidabutsu led me to meet you all and Jikoji in Antwerp.(…)" (Nobuyuki Kashiwahara)

"I learned a lot from the conference. (…) I realized that there weren't many religions that allow priests act like ordinary men and women enjoying casual life without straight jacket. (…) Maybe this is as important as doctrinal topics that I tried to introduce to the audience. (…)(Esho Shimazu)
